Today's announcement was a surprise to me but I reckon is inevitable.

Steve, as a CEO has built a company from a MC of $20m to $2B. It wasn't easy to manage a company of $20m MC, especially in 2018/19 when lithium prices were low. It would have been a real struggle those days but now LKE is in ASX200, MC $2B plus, solid cashflow, Tier-1 partnerships with Hanwa & FORD to list a few.

Steve has done more than what we asked for as shareholders...from identification of right tenements in Argentina, LILAC partnership to Kachi demo plant. Thank you Steve and wish you all the very best for your next stage in your life. You have changed our lives (positively)

LKE is now in a transition phase. Need a new CEO who could take LKE into production in 2024, revamp BOD by bringing in new but established members to suit a ASX200 company and move towards 100,000 tpa production target.

Looking forward to new CEO and BOD members who could take LKE to next level

PS: Mergers & Acquisition or JV is also a possibility for LKE, IMO
