Makes sense to me.
Even discounted gains outside of super will be more than in super.
At 10 cents, assuming 2 members in his super fund, he could own 32M RWD sares and not breach the 1.6M cap on non-concessional contributions.
No doubt he has more than RWD in the super fund.
He may have more members in the fund.
