Silly Sellers Must be "Radio Rental"For readers that were not around in the 1950’s, the heading for this piece refers to “The Goon Show” - a famous British radio program which featured the comic genius of Peter Sellers and Spike Milligan who inspired cultural luminaries such as Monty Python and even The Beatles. This writer is of course far too youthful to have heard the original Goon Show broadcasts but has heard about it from his grandparents.
At Lake Goongarrie, Kingwest is methodically working to identify the source of the Sir Laurence gold discovery – a 2km x 1km gold mineralised footprint under the surface of the lake as identified by aircore drilling via diamond drilling.
While the initial 2 diamond holes did not locate the high-grade system which is responsible for the mineralised quartz gravels observed in the aircore campaigns which defined the Sir Laurence discovery, the fact that these gravels are angular in nature suggests that the “kitchen” that has cooked them up is not too far away.
The hysterical reaction from the market to 2 “pin-pricks” into a very geological large area which is totally obscured by lake sediments beggars belief. The current market cap for KWR not only unfairly discounts the Sir Laurence opportunity, it also completely overlooks the value of the >500koz Au MRE at the Menzies Gold Project.
Buying Kingwest here is like picking money up off the ground.
