Wow, the numbers certainly beat my expectations! Great to see, economics stack up and we are well and truly undervalued after this catalyst on the project timeline is now completed. There are plenty more steps to achieve prior to production, but the numbers are great and government funding of some sort is very likely now IMO. Governments and institutions need to see data like this to de-risk their positions and give them the groundwork to make funding decisions. Hopefully there will now be a clear path to advance the project. Our market cap needs to move multiples to be in line with the current confirmed value and status of Lake Hope.
Clearly plenty of retail or certain entities are happy to take the easy short term 20% profits on offer now with the increased volume on the back of this sort of news. However, like our peers, it's not until the constant newsflow and institutions start taking positions that the share price appreciation really advances. I have heard plenty of stories of people regretting their decision to sell out early in the good news cycle, only to watch stocks like LTR, WA1, PLS etc continue on with no handbrake. I am sure there will be similar stories in relation to IPT in the coming months.
