From one of Vulcan's presentations.
They mention the sorption process was chosen as more suitable for hot brines & Livent/FMC process.
If reading this correctly, their 180mg/L brine is concentrated to 2,000mg/L.
The un-optimized Lilac DLE process has a LOW range of 1,900mg/L & upper range of 3,800mg/L
That to me looks like the technology has potential to DOUBLE the concentration of sorption DLE technology.
IOW disruptive not just to the Li extraction sector but also to the conventional sorption process.
