That is not what the update said. It said the distant wells slowed down the evaluation of changes to the elutants. Sounds reasonable that the further away an injection is from the collector then the longer it takes for fluid to reach the collector. There is no reason indicated as to why distant wells may not be used in a final production configuration. Once steady state is achieved the distant wells will deliver a steady flow, I would have thought.
Seems to me that they want to speed up their evaluation of changes in the reactants.
