For anyone who missed the conference call, you didn't really miss much. Wayne read out recent announcements verbatim and then a few analysts asked some questions:
- Question about financing. Will PEN need more capital this year? Wayne indicate that at some point things will likely become 'skinny' for the company and then they might need to look at financing options. Wayne indicated his preference for a debt facility rather than equities, but it will not be his decision to make. (This should not be taken as an indication that this will happen, it is just a hypothetical.)
- Question about flow rates for MU3. Why was this a problem and what are the implications? Wayne responded the original flow rates were based on MU1 and MU2, and they expected it to be the same for MU3, but it turned out to not be the case for whatever reason, likely just the geological permeability in that zone. The remaining 2/3 have unknown flow rates, could be higher, could be lower. Wayne emphasised that a lower flow rate does not mean that less uranium can be extracted, it just means it takes longer to extract the uranium.
- Question about whether MU4 will have better flow rates. I zoned out a bit then and didn't take any notes sorry. I think there was a noncommittal answer.
For anyone who missed the conference call, you didn't really...
