Land Acquired in the Waterberg
Resource Generation Limited has successfully acquired 5 parcels of land totalling 5,625
hectares for approximately $13 million. Three of the parcels of land coincide with the
exploration licence forming part of the Ledjadja Coal Joint Venture and two parcels are
to the immediate south. Four parcels of land are now registered in the name of the
company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Resgen SA (Pty) Limited, and the fifth is in the
final stage of registration.
Paul Jury, managing director, said: ‘We are very pleased to have finalised the acquisition
of these portions of land, significantly de-risking our proposed mine in the Waterberg.
The acquisition provides key land for the site of major mine infrastructure including the
washery, stockpiles and transport facilities.’
