Agree with your sentiment and my "gut feel" is that if you read between the lines funding (in my opinion) is not to far from being finalized, i'd bet that the crux of the deal is worked out it is now a matter of ironing out a few bugs, they would still be negotiating with SK and no doubt Marcus is driving a harder bargain than might otherwise have been the case. He has already made a difference in my view, and the true value of adding Marcus Hughes to the team will be born out over the next 12 to 24 months as he guides BB and the team as they transform AUZ from a junior explorer to a producer....in my opinion.
While the purchase of the 13 acres might not look like a insignificant action relevant to sorting out the finance...................you just don't take action like this unless you have a pretty iron clad plan backing it up.
In my view the deal is close to being inked, but keep in mind given this is a deal that will run over two decades at minimum, "close" might mean a few weeks/months which in the scheme of the whole project over 20 or so years is "close"

I am glad of the purchase it means heaps for commitment and a statement to the local community makes the house block I purchased some 6 months ago in Eucalyptus Street Greenvale a stable purchase. With the extended mine life due the coming resources upgrade makes building Units sense to me.
