Read somewhere that this Padbury Mining Gary Stokes was a member of the SIA - Securities Institute of Australia and most likely still is.
Whatever 'pull' this membership has could well lead to an idea that this is why no penalty has been imposed on him, or at the very least go some way towards an excuse. DYOR but to gain such membership isn't as simple as handing over a few hundred bucks to get the 'cap' - nope, you gotta do a full course.
Its disgraceful NOTHING has been done by the various governing bodies about his Directorship of a publicy listed company !
