I spent a few hours yesterday doing some homework on this new gold anomaly including ringing the lab in Fairbanks to find out if these stream sediment numbers were of interest and while they would not speak about a client they confirmed that 100 - 500 ppb is highly anomalous in the region. I had a look at the anomaly on google earth and it tiger country with high relief. It is interesting that a road runs along the top of a ridge that bisects the anomaly. This raises the question if there is a heap of gold there why hasn't it been found.

The answer lays in having a look at the geology of Northern Stars Pogo 10 MOZ Gold deposit. The geology is quite similar to the geology of this new area and in the same orogenic belt.

What is interesting is that the gold is invisible sub micron gold occurring as interstitial particles on fractures in arsenopyrite. You cannot see or pan the gold. This is typical of the major mines in this belt. Pogo was found not that long ago by stream sediment geochemistry. There is no reason why the new gold anomaly cannot reflect a gold resource.

This company has a nice high grade polymetallic resource, a heap of blue sky to find more with their large land holding in Alaska and a quality JV partner in addition to their Australian precious metal resource. At a market cap of AUD$ 7m I think they are a real good punt.

On a different note I went to UWA in the late sixties with another geologist we user to call "Roger the Dodger". You wouldn't be the same individual?

How do they process to get that out of the rock?

Dont most gold grains come at least 5 microns and normally 20 and above at least?

Wouldn’t you have to grind it to as small as 10 microns to leach it at that size?

Can that even technically be done?

Or do they roast it?
