after recently buying for a trade I sold out today into the pump. Read about rubidium (sell first ask questions later) and it's a very small sector, about 7kt.
GT1's grade is similar to what ASX:LPD had. Rubidium is mainly a by-product from lepidolites through electrolysis.
LPD's JORC equalled Ore Reserve 9.4Mt @ 0.43% Li2O, 278ppm Cs, 0.21% Rb & 2.0% K. LPD long term suspended
International Lithium Corp's (ILC.V) Raleigh Lake Lithium Project in Ontario contains Rb grades of 0.67% M+I and Inferred 0.46%. That has a market cap of about $4m, so it's tiny. Low lithium grades 0.64%
North Aubrey needs far higher lithium prices to be viable so in the end it all comes back to lithium spot price. This rubidium resource has no meaning unless North Aubrey starts producing which is a long shot. GT1 remains an out of the money call option on lithium and I am not convinced about the lithium revival, but I hope it happens as there is good money in lithium stocks
