The late afternoon announcement was unusual and nearly caught me out.
Typically LKE market sensitive announcements have been before noon.
The only announcements after noon have been "administrative" (notice and minutes of meetings etc) share issues, options etc.
The announcement will give overseas buyers (London) the opportunity to place orders before the market opens in the morning. I can think of no other reason for the late announcement.
