Disappointing for mine... but then I'm hard to please as you know. Carbonatite wrapping around the magnetic trend is skinnier than hoped, much skinnier than the large Luni style pipe first targeted. That in itself isnt a killer, when 2Mtp at good grade will make money you don't need 100's Mt, and the carb is ~500m wide and 4-5km long.
What will we find in the samples not rushed to the lab and infilled drilled at the end of the programme? All holes on map drilled, carb closed off by last two lines east towards the Stormless Fault, but open between 0-800m east of last section that intersected carbs.
6 infill holes and 1 twin hole on the 330-31 and 340-41 sections, spaced 400m apart. Holes up to 200m depth before refusal, similar depths to holes
We assume the best holes were rushed, best intercepts from the 50-60m base of depleted zone probably, then into patchy mineralisation right down to transitional-fresh rock. At 160m spacing there is obviously room to miss good HG ore blanket, and good potential to define good widths with infill drilling to 80m and then 40m. Crean section below shows ~40m spaced holes and how 160m is hit and miss for HG if the Nb mineralisation is patchy compared to Luni's much more consistent supergene blanket. If Luni demonstrates perhaps how supergene blankets form across consistent HG mineralised carbs... the Green looking more patchy and skinny mineralised like Crean, albeit in a much thicker carb, on wider spaced drilling and without all the assays back.
Infill holes 426 to 431 will be very interesting, though the company knows from the handheldXRF, of course!
