    That was a good time for gold stocks as there was no competition from cash yields back then. But the gold price is a lot higher now and the good times will return once the yields start to drop off. I love those big spikes that come on suddenly like that, giving the company the momentum to raise cash on the way up at multiples of their share price. All it takes is some really good convincing strikes to create that sort of excitement.

    DEG was another that comes to mind, trading at just under 5c at the start of 2020 at a market cap of about $40m in early 2020 and rising to $1billion in less than 6 months.

    Lets hope that GBR can turn up something really special in the next few months.
