The announcement is a cheap copycat of the announcement Loyal Lithium put out on 16 August. And what is their actual workplan? Hope it was not too technical for you to understand, involves some scratching of bums, a vague reference to some drilling and then chipping a few rocks near an actual lithium project.


As for Canada being the place for spodumene ... umm, no. Pilbara recently increased its resource by more than the total resource at Allkem's James Bay project, which is the biggest lithium resource in Quebec (if not Canada), and Azure and Delta as new discoveries in WA monster anything in Canada, including Corvette. WA lithium miners produce more than half the world's lithium supply while the sole spodumene producer in Canada looks like it may have hit a brick wall. On top of that the permitting requirements mean that what takes two or three years to do in WA looks like taking 8 to 10 years in Quebec. Malibu_tan and I have been keeping tabs on some 28 ASX listed companies looking for lithium in Quebec and not a single one of them has been anything but ordinary. That might change, but as of now the big money in lithium stocks is not being made in Canada.
