This really is a dilemma. Not only does it stink I been thinking for some time this reeks of mis-information and previous posts will confirm this. Also, it doesn't say much for the glowing media reports that have been emerging of late from sources like MF and others.

Could they have been paid-for?

For example, there was an article in the Australian a week or so ago sort of giving the impression that Nearmap was about to crack a big slice of USA business. Turns out all it was was that Nearmap was aiming to get a big chunk of USA business - it was more an advertorial than a report.

Like I've posted in the past, there's law fims out there seeking class-actions. I'd say KTD 'management' is flying pretty close to the wind. A number of times I've held off moving somewhere else on the promise of production from the new factory to fill increasing numbers of bigger orders.

None of which seems to have materialised - not that I'm aware of, anyway.

While, it turns out, I would have been mostly right to do so, I didn't, and like most on this forum have lived to regret it, so far.

Wonder why James Gong left in such a hurry.

And, don't forget, the Nouriz order isn't due to be processed until August so actual payment won't appear for some time - I've no idea what margins are but they must be lean with these big retailers. I'd suggest that KTDs going to need some serious dosh to front whatever it takes to manufacture this order.
