The Tech business I have always considered unwise as why sell your IP even if it is not the latest IP you have available ?
I guess I look at that from a farmers perspective , (selling new apple seedlings varieties (IP on that to ) to an overseas country then the other country grows the variety at your expense - and they also put inferior product of that variety on the market which hits you with a second wammy .
As to the hit and miss margins , also as a ex farmer , use to that to but as long as the production and demand keeps climbing its all good over the long haul , so bit surprised by the smack down in the sp , but then not every one is a farmer .
