Hi Ladel,

There is a considerable Dunning-Kruger effect at play within LaserBond, where confidence in key decision-making far outweighs actual competence.

Stability for the sake of job security does not resonate with me, especially when the company was in a considerably stronger and more stable position before my departure than it is today. LaserBond should be driven by bold vision, innovation, and strategic execution—not complacency. For a company with such immense potential, merely maintaining the status quo is not enough. I remain hopeful that common sense will prevail for the benefit of all shareholders, ensuring that the company's future is built on progress, not maintenance.

Since joining in 1994, my brother has worked tirelessly, and together we built this extraordinary company from the ground up. The reality, in my opinion, is that the board (Independent Directors) contributed very little to this success. Instead, they rode the wave of momentum we created, and hence, in my opinion, how the Dunning-Kruger effect has infiltrated. Rather than providing insightful leadership to propel the company forward, their so-called ‘expert opinions and misguided decisions have led to avoidable setbacks that hindered our growth.

While it is a legal requirement to have independent directors, we must be far more critical of the competencies we expect from them. Simply filling seats does not equate to effective governance.

LaserBond's potential remains immense, but realising it requires leadership that truly understands the industry, recognizes opportunities, and has the courage to act decisively.
An opportunity still exists with the aforementioned company, though not in the same form as originally presented. Whether it will be recognised and acted upon is another matter entirely.

My loyalty remains, as it always has, with my brother and the hard-working employees who are the backbone of LaserBond. I sincerely hope and pray that the petty rifts that have emerged can be mended, allowing us to return to the strong, unified family we once were. Only then can we reignite the true spirit of LaserBond and drive it toward the success it is more than capable of achieving.
