Tassy has very good wind in the NW. So they can pump water back.

Just nobody think for a second that wind and solar and renewables in general leads to cheap reliable energy, not unless you believe in fairies too.

In Tassy case they do have run of river i.e. free water, all the same there needs to be a robust grid from Tassy to Vic and NSW, which there isn't.The greater tragedy is wet behind the ears kiddy bureaucrats in AEMO and Canberra generally. Don't get me started.
