Not for a moment do I believe renewable, as they are now, provide an answer. In time, I think small modular reactors will need to be part of the solution.

My impression of wind farms is that they are environmental pollution and of very marginal benefit.

My mention of the VRFB's was only due to the statement in this thread 3 times "When the sun is shining"

As for coal, I personally believe it should be retained and partly reinstated as an energy source until technology is far more developed, reliable, afordable and transferable. I'll add, not as bloomin ugly too.
