This Perth to Melbourne intermodal train from Jly 2022 has 11 LAU railable containers among its 90 vehicles: quite good. It's nearing the end of its long journey.
At the start, because the train has just sat in the passing loop and thus accelerates slowly, we can view a couple of the LAU 'reefer' containers up close with their refrigeration controls. In this direction, some may well be empty as much more freight originates in Melbourne than Perth, but as demonstrated in recent results, freight for LAU at present is profitable:
