Double stacking is also available in Australia from Tarcoola on the Trans Australia Railway (east-west line) to Alice Springs and Darwin. I haven't seen recent videos of intermodal trains on this line so don't know if LAU ever has railable containers to those locations.
If Inland Rail is ever finished - will take maybe 15 years at current snail's pace progress - then double stacking will be achievable from the proposed QUB terminal at Beveridge north of Melbourne to Brisbane, something ruled out on any route from Melbourne or Sydney at present.
