The existing mine is fully permitted but has been exploited, extensions were tested for but never announced. Permits have been applied for over other very high grade MSV deposits and also for the open pit plan of the large scale, low grade disseminated sulphides. Legislation apparently may have needed tweaking, either for this permitting or the extra exploration permits also applied for and the Australian Embassy was involved in helping facilitate something along those lines
