Idemitsu never clearly stated what they want out of it. idemitsu's heavy into solid state batteries with Toyota which need lithium & vanadium. Funnily enough Idemitsu has a stake in vecco group which is into vanadium.
I don't at this point but if Kovac on the board was to open up the resource, idemitsu was going to be the supplier to Toyota. CE's pretty vocal about Cutting out China, wouldn't Kovac and Idemitsu be the perfect pipeline to a battery manufacturer outside of the chinese?
