It doesn't necessarily have to "beat" all apps it just has to have a significant subscriber base. You might find users will use many apps from different vendors. Consider Skype to WhatsApp. They don't have to just download one app and say this is my app so I'm never using any other app. If people like the app and the experience with it then they'll likely subscribe.
It's also important to note that TV2U is about OTT content and not just Karaoke. So there are many other ventures the technology can be applied to.
