there is no downside protection, just a guarantee of 4.3% income, 3.3% net.
The product is incredibly underwhelming imo. Good for the unadvised client, designed to capture more fum for MFG. I'll be suprised if they capture a lot of FUM with it, but if they do they only invest in their own funds, so will be a great outcome for MFG.
