Unfortunately the document did not do a cost benefit analysis between carbon hard facing (as offered by stabi) and laser treatment .
Would not that be anyway what the comparison should be about as if you are going to look to increase drill hammer life one would look at the alternatives rather than comparing just with a new drill to a drill that has been treated ?
