Re: $400k = Expensive.
As soon as you request your Board of Directors to make a decision like this:
"I want to invest in technology that will save us 5 staff a year which will mean it pays for itself within a year" Which demonstrates to them that we will will save 5 staff wages for every one we buy - year in year out.
The price then becomes insignificant.
All the Board will want to know is two things:
1. Do we have the cash flow to buy it (if so good, if not lets get a loan).
2. Is it best to but two (or three or four) instead of just the one.
What am I saying - the power of the word "Invest" V "Cost".
It's like when you call a normal flower a BLOOM (for a wedding) suddenly the damn flower doubles in price and most people don't mind (I did say MOST - I bloody did - LOL).
