Whilst I have no doubt that this will be successful, I do not think that it will take off so quickly. Most likely, will take a longer time frame (years) to truly be taken up. In the post by 24TIGES above, companies don't just cut '5 staff' immediately upon some new automation technology, they get phased out over time.
From market inception of a new automation technology, there is a lag time before take up. I work in an industry exposed to automation, and whilst the technologies were already on the market 10 years ago, it is only now that we are purchasing and implementing the technology, it takes time to phase it in, and phase people out.
