I agree that those comments are very interesting. I can only think that what they may be attempting to do is use the proven technology from Leigh Creek to develop similar sites in Asia - he specifically mentioned the words sub continent I think - a phrase I've always hated, but to me that is suggesting India and surrounds. India has a lot of dirty coal and a lot of mouths to feed. The Indian politicians would get massive kudos if somehow they could shutter digging up polluting coal which is literally killing their populations, and instead use LCK's tech to build urea plants in India to assist their farmers produce more food, or at least to keep costs in check to some extent. India's soils are very degraded and they currently use lower quality fertilisers, is my understanding.

The mind boggles with the possibilities and the very fact they are so in bed with the Koreans now means I think, that the Koreans probably see real potential for them to generate a lot of work for their own engineers and construction work force to build a few more of these plants in coal fields with Leigh Creek somehow earning a loyalty stream. Korea is also very keen to secure its own urea supply and multiple sources as a diversification policy for them would be prudent.

So build Leigh Creek first, prove it up, and then roll out similar plants elsewhere in the world. I am very encouraged by these comments and clearly the discussions going on in the background are way beyond what many would have thought - especially me. Many miles down the road to travel yet, but just think what could occur if a major financier looking to espouse green credentials and feed the world were to come on board.
