Take a look at the chart, the only carbon sequestration is the CCS. All others (Urea Production, Renewables, Soil Carbon, Offsets, and CO2 Sales) just transfer the problem and all its implications to another party. It wrongly encourages the continuation of fossil fuel industries. A classic example of "clean at source, dirty in the field". Except, in the case of CCS' all of the carbon produced is going to end up in the atmosphere. I'm afraid Slims' idea of putting CO2 into a cylinder and storing it on site until it can be sequestrated or sold at some time in the future just won't cut it. I also notice that "zero carbon" doesn't get a guernsey these days.

The only way LCK can be carbon neutral by end of 2022 is as stated in the following table:

There is no CCS in 2022 here. Although perfectly feasible, it is all froth and bubbles, and has no bearing on Stage 2. At this early stage CCS is too complex, too unreliable, too expensive, and there is not enough time. How this flies under the Environmentalists' radar beats me.

But is not News put out by our honorable members of parliament full of Co2? Its all smoke and mirrors, and a sniff of some good news to feed to the flock must be advantageous? I believe the end game as you described it here is a good thing.. Soon we will progress from a spec stock.
