I think the LVCLY is a throwback to when the BOD had ambitions for growth of the share price, IMO they would have wanted the possibility of the SP being driven up by the American investors when we were all asleep down this end of the world. If we'd had the good news that we'd hoped for all those years ago I think it would of been a very smart move. I'm guessing an initiative by Bob Elliot to help boost awareness of the company in the USA, maybe with hopes of a full US listing if things had panned out. Could still be of course, if we ever get a product that can be shouted about (in a good way). I've no idea what the costs are, but if it's not much then may as well keep it going IMO.
By the way Osgood, you got the amount wrong, is actually only $70. Just someone cleaning the cobwebs out of their portfolio. Shares may well have cost them $700 though, depending on when they bought.
