Hardman! They were heady days.
I found myself in the unusual position of being the second most pessimistic re the resource nearest the pin. Apparently I was even lower than Spider. I can't remember a time when I have been happier to be wrong.
Perversely the low iron ore price may assist us going forward. We have Fortescue, Rio and BHP, with spare capacity on their trains, looking for a higher return on investment, and importantly looking to convince shareholders that they are being pro-active on maintaining profitability. Today we delivered an absolute pearl on their door step. This is leaving out the Canadians, the Chinese, the Russians and the Germans. We have the makings of a perfect storm in the months ahead.
For me the sp today was disappointing but it will be a blip and a distant memory in the near future. Good luck to all holders new and old.
