There are already two FDA approved medical devices which can differentiate between viral and bacterial infections. FebriDx is out of the game. It's too late now. Lumos stated they won't be looking for a regulatory pathway anytime soon, and considering how long it takes to get the FDA approval, FebriDx won't be in the market for at least two years. In the meantime, there will surely be more FDA approved medical devices in the market to address the overuse of antibiotics.
Yes, you can always buy more when Lumos is 2 cents, 1 cent, and lower.
