Pain programme was already strategically spot on,
but now with Benitec and the Chinese research group agreeing to meet to discuss this new approach to treating pain - Pfizer's No.1 Front and Centre commercial target it just got a whole lot better. No funding constraints in China.

Better still - the regulatory door's propped open by using it in conjunction with morphine (ie: lower shRNA dosing - lower regulatory bar).

Pfizer really need to be watching this closely - they could have someone (China) getting the jump on them in their own speciality.
