There hasn't been much comment about this announcement, apart from giving the resident "tycoon" some new material for his weekend wank fantasies.Nothing new there.

So onto the announcement..........

It was kind of in line with my expectations, although I wouldn't have been able to state all that was quoted, such as Board reshuffle.

In general though, it was fairly corporate cleansing. In other words, don't allocate blame, add plenty of makeup, and don't forget to put some gloss on the lipstick. It's all there for everyone to see.

I didn't expect much forensic detail in actual cost savings, and that's what they delivered.
I didn't expect any detail on how this cost cutting has effected their previous operational plans, and that's what they delivered.

I did however expect the announcement to "softly suggest" that anything and everything was in limbo.......and that's the vibe I got from the announcement, after removing all the self praise and makeup.

Does anyone envisage any ore going through the plant in the next two years? I have strong doubts about that.
