Makes perfect sense. A mining company that is never going to mine metals (but has adequate cash to fund admin costs for years) doesn't need a CEO that is a miner, but rather an accountant to ensure that costs are managed studiously to ensure admin costs run as long as possible before the inevitable dilution continues. What a stock- it's a marketing machine!
