Fezz, I share your frustration. That said, HFR has been a speculative play. I think we all knew this coming in.
There is no benefit throwing blame around. It is what it is.
No one knows how long this will take and I believe it is unkind to hang this uncertainty on one person or the board. (or even the punters on HC)
I have commented previously on this thread about the difficulties working with Government's in foreign countries. I have done this in Thailand, Malaysia and Viet Nam.....believe me, it is not easy. The rules can change by the minute and are usually driven by emotional considerations.
You may not have had that experience in your career so I can understand how this can irritate. But this is not Australia.
IMO if anyone bails now they are a fool. They have waited this long so far and progress has been made.
Any objective review (minus emotion) would reveal that HFR will deliver results. It's a very good play..
