Sad to see Ron go but I am happy to see he will be staying on in a non exec position.
I don't know for sure but I'm guessing that Ron has some personal matters that have been the focus of his time. As far as timing at this stage of EMV's maturity, this kind of transition can be beneficial to have Scott take the reigns.
Scott is an absolute gun negotiator, a relentless machine if you will. EMV has not missed a beat and I'm sure it will continue to deliver as expected.
I'm still very much bullish on EMV and if some decide to exit here I'm sure they will be gladly scooped up by many of us waiting for the opportunities.
