While there is not much traded, why would a hedge fund justify a investment at $5 when the last traded price is $1.10? Imagine explaining that in terms of returns to shareholders of the fund. And straight away the auditors will say we have a market price.
It is a double edged sword, while primary provides liquidity for SH, it also provides a market price.
