Animoca Brands invested 29% in the first investment round and was one of the investors in the second round which was 10% of the Sky Mavis equity. I would guess they are holding between 3.5 and 7% of Sky Mavis.
I think we can all agree that it is impossible to estimate the real value of AB, but following the momentum IS quite impressive. Investments like Sky Mavis, Dapper Labs, Open Sea, My Defi Pet…. sky rocketed and they are close to 100 other investments. They estimate Sandbox 2021 revenue for 2021 as 70 million $, while whole Animoca Brands revenue was 17 million in 2019 Quidd, NWay, Gamee, F1, Lympo … and other activities also seem to perform and contribute. So I’m absolutely with Mom88 that the chance for a much higher valuation is more than realistic. Of course there is the possibility that the NFT hype fades, or that the small companies are overrun by a big one, but the momentum is clearly on AB‘s side.
