    THE “SECRET SAUCE”

    Of course no one is trying to compare the size and scale of The Pokémon phenomenon with the little funny looking Axie game, however there are similarity’s in the game play structure and the animation ! (Reminds me more of a hybrid between the infamous Tomagachi & Pokémon )

    Also , Mr Hapoy thank you for the scholarly report on the history of The Pokémon game!
    What I believe The Company is looking at and we as investors should be paying attention to is a couple of key areas that differentiate the two Company’s! ( Axie & Pokémon or the other million similar games you refer to)

    DRUM ROLL PLEASE......

    The SECRET SAUCE (just like the McDonalds burger ) was Thousand Island dressing, but was treated as a secret recipe and people loved it!

    In regards to Animoca and Blockchain Gaming in particular , the Secret Sauce lies within :
    1. Digital Scarcity
    2. Digital OWNERSHIP, including trade ability and sales of their acquired assets through the NFT smart contracts purchased by the PLAYERS
    3. User Generated Content
    4. CREATORS Digital OWNERSHIP, IMMUTABILITY & The Ability to sell their creations throughout the community and receive royalties every time it is traded or resold

    Okay, everybody already knows all this stuff, so why am I bringing it up again???

    Axie Infinity is a digital collectible pet game built on the Ethereum blockchain. In Axie Infinity, players can battle, raise, evolve, and trade fantasy creatures called Axies, which are visual representations of NFTs owned by the players. Each Axie has its own distinct look and attributes, and cannot be replicated. Axie Infinity launched in early 2018, and it is now one of the highest-grossing blockchain games, with over US$1.1 million (approximately A$1.6 million) in sales of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Its in-house marketplace has processed over 25,000 transactions with a total value of US$1.8 million (approximately A$2.62 million).

    The paragraph extracted from the Axie Deal contains the ANSWER!

    I believe the Axie BC game is less than 2 years old and has probably has been operating with limited exposure and marketing budget and maybe a player base of less than 1,000 monthly.

    So what!

    Check this out:

    Revenue $ 1.8 million dollars US dollars
    Transactions : 25,000

    That equates to about $72 dollars per transaction US dollars! ( this number is many times higher than a standard game that offers digital assets for purchase in game play but no ownership. (Secret sauce again)

    With the partnerships they have recently attracted, (Samsung, Hashed/Kakao/Klaytn, and now Animoca and other investors) the
    Axie BC game could yield some massive potential profits as they begin to Scale the user base!


    We don’t need massive numbers of users to generate potentially very large returns once the upfront costs of game development has been absorbed!

    Actually, Animoca has additionally retained the creators of the Axie game to assist them with their Secret Sauce as it pertains to Digital Scarcity within the gaming ecosystem !

    Man o Man, can’t wait for the full release of The Sandbox which could be a beautiful thing...
