I am sure the BOD will surely sort out that bit regarding the medicare and private health.
The doctor referral bit will be the hardest one, I reckon. My assumption is as follows:
1) GP - generic medication and consultation
2) GP - follow up
3) GP - change of medication/ per your request for referral
4) GP - referral to Psychologist?
5) Psychologist - Consultation ( probably there will be a standard procedure or test you need to pass to receive psychedelic treatment)
6) psychologist - medication over the counter
7) Psychologist - follow up
8) Psychologist - body/blood check and referral to Clarion ( this will probably get done at GP stage and forward to Psychologist), test/ threshold you have to pass to receive psychedelic treatment
9) Clarion Clinic- Consultation and review result from psychologist, advise suggested dose and treatment duration and potential out of pocket cost.
10) Client will have to decide to go ahead
That's a lot of steps and redtape to go through in my opinion specially for a first in the market treatment.
