" Along the updip Jurassic onlap margin, carbonate reservoir systems in the Smackover ‘A’ (lower Buckner), Smackover ‘B’ (late upper Smackover), and Smackover ‘C’ (also called the early upper Smackover Reynolds) members contain substantial oil and gas reserves where they have been dolomitized. Most good quality Oxfordian oil hydrocarbon reservoirs are comprised of oolites and skeletal debris. Smackover and Buckner microbial reefs also form good petroleum reservoirs in some areas .
