I think its highly unlikely that MCC will not pay up, considering MCC has just lodged plans the government to develop the Cape Lambert project at a production rate of 15 million tonnes a year. Failure to pay could jeopardise their plans.

Could this be a attempt to deliberately lower SP for a take over by other parties ? Who knows, Tony said take over was a possibility at recent meeting.
