Could mcc have another agenda? By announcing the project go ahead it just made CFE's adjacent tenement very valuable. All the funds that they spend on ports and infrastructure increases it's value. Could it be possible that they want to purchase the CFE tenement?

it would increase the mine life and give much greater returns to mcc. As many posters have said, Asians have a different way of negotiating.

May we live in interesting times. Someone has worked out what the CFE tenement is worth. I suspect TS already knew what it would be worth if it proceeded.Anyone prepared to have a guess. It's got to be more than the current ascribed value. NIL.
