Chances of hitting the core of a significant deposit with the first and only drill at a site are very low.
If the core at Leichhardt has similar mineralisation to that found in the halo around Ernest Henry, it's too early to deem this site a failure, surely it deserves more work?
This still an exciting prospect, let's sink a few more holes once the team has performed further analysis and see if there is something!

This result, and the subsequent discontent expressed by some, is why so many on HC continue reiterate the importance of understanding what you are investing in, if you want low probability high return action you're just as likely to win keno and be equally disappointed when you receive no immediate gratification.

It might be more satisfying to view investment here as; following a professional team working a process of securing tenements in areas known to host significant mineralisation, producing data derived (often gov't funded, well done RDM!) plans for drilling, determining if drill results warrant further work, and then either planning further work in the area or morning on to the next project - all the while maintaining low management costs and no consultant fees ie. our buck goes further, which means more drilling for our dollar and a higher chance of results. And let's not forget Maronan in our back pocket.
