Far from being a dud, the hole drilled at Leichhardt (as a first hole into a large mag target) has moved the prospect forward it would appear. There must(?) be immediate follow up work planned here, as otherwise we would do like we did at Irindina and pack up and bail.

The first hole into such a large mag target isn't always going to find your best stuff, as we know these systems don't fold and form to perfect laws of physics.

There are lots of tools in the geologist's toolkit, and a few that might be suitable, I suspect, will be applied here to direct further drilling. Given the "halo" description you posted above... it is evidence that the area is certainly hosting rocks worth our while, and after the core has been cut, sampled etc, next steps will be planned to this end to find better areas for follow up holes... beats shooting 6 holes into the target randomly.

Gotta love it... another budding project. Let's find this Breccia.
