My take is that MPL(S) is again displaying it's targeted aim against the enemy: parasites (tick) cancer (tick) and now covid (tick).
How many drugs have indicated effectiveness against all 3? I can think of one, possibly two. We're in a very small club that specifically attacks errant cells from 3 causes, and being either cells that aren't native or cells that aren't performing normally. Indeed, while the infected cells progressively disliked it, the uninfected cells slightly preferred the higher concentration of MPLS !
